A Battle of Britain Ghost Story

April 2018 marks the centenary of the founding of the Royal Air Force. To help mark this occasion, our partners at the North Downs Branch of the Royal Society of St. George are meeting on St.George's Day to recall that, just 22 years after its founding, the RAF fought and won the first strategic battle to have been fought largely in the air - the Battle of Britain.

Guest speaker will be the Order of St. George's Grand Scrivener, the Chevalier Stuart Notholt, who will be presenting 'a Battle of Britain ghost story'.

All members of the Order are invited. The Dinner will be at 7.30pm on 23 April 2018, at the King and Queen, East Malling, Kent, at a cost of £25. Before dinner there will a short wreath-laying service to commemorate the RAF at the East Malling war memorial. For more details please contact the Grand Scrivener.
