Chaplain of the Chapter (Rev. Chevalier Rod Pierce):
“We have come together as members of the International Knightly Order Valiant of St George in our Father’s presence to offer him praise and thanksgiving, to hear and receive His holy word, to welcome new members into our Order, to bring before him the needs of the world, to rededicate ourselves to our Order, and to seek his grace, that through His Son Jesus Christ we may give ourselves to his service.
“I now call upon our Magisterium Officium to declare this Chapter meeting of the Order open.”
Magisterium Officium (Chevalier Stuart Notholt):
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost and under the protection of St George, I declare this Chapter meeting of the Order duly open.”
Chaplain of the Chapter: “Almighty God, who called your holy Martyr George to bear before the world the banner of the Cross, and to serve you even unto death. Grant that, following his courage, we may be strong in the good fight, and with him attain the crown of eternal life; through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The welcoming of new Officers, Dames Expectant, and Knights Expectant
Magisterium Officium: “We now move to welcome new Officers, Dames Expectant, and Knights Expectant, to the ranks of our Order.”
Grand Chancellor (Chevalier Mark Haley):
“Your Excellencies, Knights and Dames, I present these Postulants to you, our Brothers and Sisters here gathered, for approval and Admission into our Order.
“Brother Knights and Sister Dames, will you accept these Officers, Knights Expectant and Dames Expectant as peers and companions?”
All invested Knights and Dames: “Gladly, we do so, with the help of God.”
“New Officers, Dames Expectant, Knights Expectant. Based upon your deportment and charitable devotion, and having submitted all necessary documents, and receiving endorsement of the Grand Magistry on behalf of the Grand Patron, are you prepared to be initiated into our ranks of chivalry and of this Order?”
New Officers, Knights & Dames Expectant: “With the help of God, we are.”
“New Officers, Dames Expectant, Knights Expectant, you must now, on oath, swear to serve the Order.
“Do you solemnly and sincerely swear that you will at all times obey God, be loyal to the sovereign or head of state in the country in which you reside, and, to which you owe your allegiance; to support to the best of my abilities, The Grand Patron and her successors in office.
“That you will loyally and conscientiously serve the International Knightly Order Valiant of St George.
“That you further promise to uphold the Christian faith and to practise the knightly virtues of faith, charity and selflessness.
“That all your patriotic duties will be performed in the spirit of your national constitution and with full obedience and adherence to it.”
New Officers, Knights & Dames Expectant: “This I swear, in the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, invoking the protection of Blessed George Saint and Martyr, So help me God.”
Magisterium Officium: “Officers, Knights Expectant, Dames Expectant, it is my pleasure and honour, on behalf of the Her Excellency the Grand Patron, to welcome you to our Order.
“Knights and Dames Expectant, this admission allows you to become a full and active member of the Order while anticipating that future time in which we are able to physically gather and you will be formally dubbed in an Investiture Ceremony. At that time, you will be touched with the sword, your heels will be tapped with the spurs, and you will be vested with the Mantle and Knight’s or Dame’s regalia of the Order.”
Grand Chancellor: “Go forth into the world, covered with the shield of faith, and vanquish the dragons of pride and ignorance. Be ever valiant in the cause of truth and honour.”
