Our next investiture event will be in London, from Friday 17 April – Saturday 18 April 2026.
(As part of the 700th anniversary celebrations of the Order, we are sending an official delegation to Hungary in the week following the UK Investiture. Details and registration are available here.)
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU REGISTER USING THIS FORM IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND ANY OF THE INVESTITURE EVENTS.
On the Friday, 17 April, we will be holding our charity AGM, followed by our special concert celebrating 700 years of the Order of St George.
The concert will be followed by our informal pre-investiture dinner, which this year is being held in the charming Victorian hostelry, The Market Porter, in the historic Borough Market.
For the Investiture itself, on Saturday 18 April, we are returning to the historic St. George the Martyr church in Southwark. The Investiture will be followed by our traditional banquet, which will be held in the church, and which promises to be a grand affair.
There are some notes for those attending their first Investiture here. Please note that if you are being invested at Knight/Dame grade or above you will need to buy a mantle (gown) which will be presented to you at the event. Payment for the mantle can be made here. Please note that Officers of the Order do not require mantles. The final day for registrations for those being invested is 2 April 2026.

AGM – Hear and discuss the latest work of the Order. (17:00)
700 years of the Order of St George – concert. (18.00) £30 per ticket.

Vigil (attendance at the vigil is expected of all postulants) (10:00)
Investiture service (11:00)
- At St George the Martyr
- Dress code: formal. Morning dress; uniform; national dress. Lounge suit permitted if formal wear not available. All members of the Order should wear their regalia (including mantles for those who have them). Full details of regalia protocol and dress code are available here.
- Church fee: £20
Post-Investiture banquet (14:00)
- In the Crypt at St George the Martyr
- £100 including drinks reception and wine
