Join us for an evening of English tradition on 23 April as we honour St George’s Day in the magnificent David Lloyd George room at the National Liberal Club, with a rousing performance of Jerusalem on the club’s Steinway grand piano.
The evening begins at 7pm with a drinks reception of Pommery English sparkling wine, when we will toast to the heritage and hospitality of England. The club’s kitchen team will craft a traditional 3-course dinner featuring the finest roast sirloin of beef served alongside half a bottle of wine per guest.
Our St George’s Day celebration will include a patriotic finale with the beloved hymn Jerusalem. This will be performed on the club’s magnificent Steinway grand piano, bringing the evening to a close with a stirring tribute to the spirit of England. Members and guests will be given the lyrics to sign along to this quintessential English song celebrating Merrie Olde England.
