On Sunday 21 December, members of the South East Commandery – in the presence of the Deputy Grand Prior – mustered at St Mary’s Church in Guildford for a ceremony to admit 3 new members and to bestow Medals of Merit of the Order of St George on 2 other members. After the ceremony, which closed with prayers led by the Deputy Grand Chaplain, the members joined with the congregation of St Mary’s for a carol service.
Following that, the members headed off for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
