The first full Investiture of the Order to be held in the United States has been set for Saturday 4 October 2014 at St James Episcopal Church in Marietta, Georgia.
It is expected that some twenty Knights and Dames will be invested at the service.
A delegation of UK Grand Officers will be going over (at their own expense) to assist with the investiture service.
All members of the Order, their friends and family are invited to attend (at own expense).
After the Investiture Service there will be a banquet on Saturday evening and a brunch on the Sunday morning.
For those flying out earlier or leaving later, there are number of suggested visits and sight-seeing opportunities in the Atlanta area before and after the investiture service to keep you busy.
Currently the cost of a return flight to Atlanta is approximately £630 and a week’s stay in a convenient hotel is about £300; the weekend only would be about £200 for the hotel.
