Working with our regional partners, When In Need Mission To Africa, the Order has been able to send medical supplies valued at over $1,400,000 to Nigeria.

Ondo State, which When in Nees works, has a population of approximately 3.5 million people, and the medical supplies will help 16 rural hospitals, serving around 600,000 people.

The medications donated to these hospitals will be given to those in most need, who cannot afford even the simplest of medical care.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with When In Need in supporting their vital work”, says Chevalier Robert Soderstrom, Grand Prior of our Americas Priory, which arranged the shipment. “We hope this is the first of several new initiatives headed by the Order aimed at getting medical supplies to vulnerable communities.”
