Our Americas Grand Priory has teamed up with the Asia-America Initiative to provide $40,000 of medical supplies to projects in Jolo, in the far southern Philippines. (Readers may recall that this same part of the Philippines is where a cathedral was bombed by Islamic terrorists a few months ago.) Amongst the supplies are several Automated External Defibrillator units being donated through the Order from the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Part of the terms of our receiving these is that they cannot be placed in service in the USA. so, they will be going to the Philippines.
