Many members of the Order have asked how they can help in the aftermath of the devastating explosion in Beirut.
As the Order does not have a partner organization in Lebanon, we are asking members to make donations via other charities on this occasion.
East Beirut’s Christian neighbourhoods have been particularly affected by the blast, with damage reported to churches, and many Christians among the injured, homeless and dead. If you would like to help this group of people, we suggest you support the appeals set up by the Barnabas Fund and by l’Œuvre d’Orient.
To make a more general donation, we suggest you support the British Red Cross Beirut Emergency Appeal or the International Medical Corps.
