We are delighted to announce that members of the Order have been invited to attend The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment’s Livery Companies’ Day on 9 July 2022.
The relationship between 3 PWRR and its affiliated Livery Companies, including the Order of St. George, is very important. This event is designed to reaffirm and build the bond between the Battalion and the Order. The activity is ever more important, as COVID-19 has prevented us holding the Livery Companies’ Day for the past 2 years.
The outline programme includes:
- A buffet lunch
- A series of military based stands on the local training area
- Finished by a curry supper and the bar will be open in the evening.
The military stands will give us an insight into the experience of our soldiers, an understanding of the Battalion’s capabilities on exercises or operations, and will highlight the burden placed on the Infantry soldiers we support.
