The United Kingdom Grand Priory of the Order of St. George presented a cheque for £2,500 to support the humanitarian work of Egypt’s Coptic community during a special visit to the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral of St. George in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
The Order was received by His Grace Bishop Angaelos, who is pictured above with members of the Order and representatives of the Coptic community. His Grace also kindly accepted an appointment as Honorary Knight Grand Cross of our Order at a special Investiture service at the Coptic Orthodox Centre.
